Services for media

Our services for media stem from our connection with the news industry. Proprietor Marc Hindley has some 20 years’ experience as a local news and web journalist. He has worked at most of the local newspaper in the Highlands, Argyll, Moray and Aberdeenshire, settling in Inverness where became chief sub editor at the Highland News.

His passion for the web led to him being promoted to web editor at its parent company Scottish Provincial Press, overseeing the launch of 12 newspaper websites and an information portal for the regional publisher.

He subsequently left to start Canary Dwarf and now also provides services for the media, such as training in modern media tools such as social media and remote newsgathering.

Canary Dwarf is also primely positioned to develop sites for the media. It publishes an award-winning news aggregator, Moray Firth Live.
