Mobile app development in Scotland

Apps bring you closer to your customers

Apps are an effective way of getting close-contact with your clients. By downloading an app to their smartphone, your customer is sending a signal that they are getting further down the funnel.

We develop apps as part of a marketing strategy, to further brand awareness, to develop relationships and to generate leads. We’ve developed a rapid process that is affordable for small businesses.

What’s perhaps more beneficial is that you can easily update the content without resorting to us each you want to make changes, and we can integrate content from your website so that changes don’t have to be made in two places.

Apps are not for every business, but we will be honest with you. If it’s not the right fit, we won’t try and sell you the idea. But if you think you could benefit from being closer to your customers, then contact us today.

Case study – Black Isle Show

The Black Isle Show app was used thousands of times to access information about the events programme and traders’ zone

The organisers of the largest agricultural event in the north of Scotland asked us to develop a smartphone app as part on their 2019 show offering. Never ones to shy away from technology, the Black Isle Show wants to be seen as leaders in their field (sorry!). They became the first farmers’ show in Scotland to offer an app for their event, and others are now following.

The Black Isle Show app provides information about the event, including a detailed timeline of events, map of the showground, and list of more than 300 trade stands.

The app was downloaded by nearly 20% of event attendees, and gave organisers the opportunity to send push notifications to the users while they were in the showground boundary.

The business case for an app?

If an app is something you think your business, organisation or event could benefit from, the first step is to talk to us. We’ll make sure there’s a business case to start development and take it from there.

What are the costs and timescales?

Due to the rapid development framework we have adopted, we can have simple apps ready for testing within a fortnight. More complex ones will take longer,
