Due to increased workload, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced WordPress designer/developer to start immediately on a freelance basis.
Canary Dwarf have over 200 WordPress websites including ecommerce and multisite in its portfolio and we require an experienced person who can build themes, functions and plugins.
The successful candidate will have worked on custom WordPress sites, and will be required to work on new and existing sites, providing theme design and functionality where required.
Applicants should have an excellent working knowledge of PHP, Javascript, jQuery, SQL and CSS, (including CSS3 and media queries), HTML5, have an eye for design, and be able to work to schedule, unsupervised, either in our Forres office or from home, and be a good communicator.
You should be able to show us samples of sites you have worked on which demonstrate your design and development skills. Familiarity with Genesis and WooCommerce would be desirable but not essential.
